Eta Iota brothers at the State University of New York-Plattsburgh demonstrated their commitment to Zeta Beta Tau through a successful fundraiser at Zuke’s Deli. This beloved eatery serves as a gathering place for students and locals alike. The event raised $500 for the Zeta Beta Tau Foundation, which funds academic scholarships, leadership programming, educational curriculum, and heritage initiatives for ZBT.
This donation provides one point to Eta Iota’s Standards of Excellence requirements. The Zeta Beta Tau’s Standards of Excellence recognizes, awards, and assesses chapter performances in areas outlined in the Zeta Beta Tau Mission and Credo. These standards guide chapters in aligning their operations, programs, and activities to develop their brothers into leaders within their community and responsible, mature members of society. To achieve basic ZBT Accreditation, chapters must earn at least 68 points during the calendar year.
The fundraiser at Zuke’s Deli is a testament to the positive impact that local businesses and student organizations can achieve when they collaborate for a common cause.
